Re: jersey city man makes PerezHilton.com

In regards to the video being "on nj.com first": The purpose of this post was to highlight the video being on PEREZHILTON.COM not of the video itself. If my goal was to share the video, I would have posted a direct link to youtube. There is nothing funny about a jersey city man being on a new jersey website. I thought it was silly that it made one of the most visited gossip blogs.

not sure how much drug dealing is still going on there..i would bet there is more pill popping and wine guzzling among the white housewives of hamilton park..i dont quite understand hamilton park. it is a beautiful area but i thought people moved to jersey city for its convenience and to be in a "city" or urban area..the path is not that close and there isnt much to do..call dina reilly if you want more police activity on wayne st.

i live above the bodega on wayne between jersey and barrow...unemployed and disabled crazies hang outside the park all day but everyone is gone by 7 or 8pm..teenagers linger at night and will play b-ball til 3am but i dont think you will get messed with..i got a bunch of cat calls when i first moved in but once they realized i lived here they backed off..now they ask me how i am doing..if living on this block means your 1000 sq. ft 2 bedroom is going to be $1000 a month rather then $2000 i would say its totally worth it..2 blocks to the path and many good restaurants/shopping..

On the nj department of baking and insurance under the real estate section it says public real estate schools are free for the initial salesperson license. Where are these schools??? If they don't exsist, can anyone recommend a good real estate school in the JC area? I need the initial 75 hour course and to take the initial sales person test. Thanks.

It is in the heights, which is a fine area (specifically your block). I just graduated njcu and all of my classmates lived in the area. I visit them frequently and feel totally comfortable walking around. The only thing I don't like about the area is there is not much to do at night in terms of bars you can walk to. I just got a place on wayne st and i wish people would respond to my questions about it being a safe block or not. congrats on finding a place you like.

hi. i am new to wayne street and was not aware it was such a problematic area
should i really be scared? please answer only if you live on or travel on this block frequently. i don't need to hear that you see suspicious characters by the playground because i see them too. have you been approached or messed with? is it safe to walk at night? the super of my building is one of the characters but he is just an old neighborhood guy who has been hanging out there for years. i read the wayne street posting on the message board but i get the feeling it is just alot of uncomfortable suburbanites who are going through a culture shock.
hellllp! i want to feel comfortable in my new home and experience the fun of living in downtown jc.
