Three cheers for vigilance. Oh and if you go to hit him, use a sack full or oranges. I hear they don't leave marks.

My guess is you won't see him for a while. He knows someone is on to him, and he'll let things cool down. No criminal... strike that... FEW CRIMINALS are dumb enough to loot/rob the area they live in, because of instances like this.

The teardrop tatoos should be enough to go on. Not too many people have them in Hamilton Park.

Not sure about his hair. He had his knit cap pulled down. Didn't get a good look at his shoes.

Could you see his hair color? Was it black and curly? And did you notice what kind of shoes he had on?

I went back there and looked around. A K-9 Cop was there walking his dog and said he had heard the call but didn't see anyone back there.

He probably ran into that no man's land behind Enos Jones Park.

The cops arrived and I spoke to them. They had at least 3 cars looking around the area.

Just tried to chase down a guy who appeared to be stealing packages and mail/Netflix from people's stoops near Hamilton Park. While exiting my apartment with my dogs he was standing near our gate with a USPS package. He immediately asked if our upstairs neighbor was home. I said I didn't know but I could sign. He said they had to sign then walked away. He was a white dude, about 40-45 but kinda roughed up looking. He was wearing jeans, a tan jacket, a block knit cap. He was wearing eye-glasses and appeared to have tear-drop tattoos near both eyes which immediately made me suspicious. I immediately called the cops and tried to follow the guy but he dissappeared near Brunswick and 9th Street as he had a block long lead on me. The guy could definitely pass himself off as somewhat legitimate but he was rough around the edges.
