The young guys removing signs this morning from doors were wearing Healy shirts.
As I drive down Garfield and Ocean on my way to West Side every day, it is a lot of area to cover rather than a random pocket of slashings of some crazy teens. And 2,000 is a lot. Someone just told me that they saw the Healy signs slashed as well as the Manzo. I've noticed the Manzo during this past week. I still would like to accuse Dan Levin...he's too clean and innocent of dirty politics...LOL!!!!

sorry, but i think this is just kids being a**holes. i really don't think there's gangs of supporters out there defacing others' signs. i could be wrong, but i'd be more prone to believe this is kids being kids. at least they're cutting signs instead of people.

Dan Levin seems like such a nice guy, he'd probably go out there and help the other camps tape all the signs together!

Why would you worry about the Healy signs, he has 3 million dollars worth of signs, he can just easily replace them. Hell they have been posted on vacant lots and just about every place imaginable they are not suppose to be posting. I'm surprised not to see City Hall, you know Healy's playground covered with his signs.

i'm not talking about "illegally posted signs".
i know a guy who's a healy volunteer in his neighborhood (Greenville), and twice over the last month, signs that he's got placed on homes (with support of homeowners) have been vandalized or defaced.

And to be clear, Capn - removing signs that have been illegally posted on public property and trespassing on someone's property to take down opposition signage are not the same thing.

Well, if anyone is seen removing signs, they should be deal with....
WHoever is slashing the Manzo signs in Bergen Lafayette should be prosecuted. I'm not on the Manzo camp but it's clear that there's a campaign to remove or slash their signs. As Radryan stated that this appears to be a Healy campaign tactic. So whoever is seen removing or slashing signs should be fined or prosecuted... BTW...I am told that if the people are caught on camera then one can follow suit.

I think the point is it is a very Healy thing to do - indicative of how he runs our town. Squash anyone that gets in his way by any means needed.
Let's hope we vote him out of office.

Healy volunteers were removing signs from doors early this morning as well as the "vote today" reminders that have no endorsements on them....
They may have been caught by a condo camera. Who do we call?
