When I was a kid back in the '80s a popular 'dare' was to hang on the drawbridge to Seabrite underneath. When the bridge was being raised, you would see how far you would be raised up before you let go, hitting the water below.

Cops started busting the kids doing it after 1 kid got hurt.

Hell, I've climber dumber stuff in my 30's. We're descended from monkeys, ask Darwin. Climbing is fun!

More like a 20-foot drop. Holy crap, am I the only person who sees this as dangerous? If so, I'll go back to shaking my fist at the clouds and shut up. As a mother, I saw a serious injury if that kid fell. But hell, I was born in the '60's, so I'm officially old as dirt.

I showed it to my co-worker, who is my age (54) with two older teens - she was mortified. I guess baby-boomers deserve their reputation for being more protective parents - not saying that's a bad thing at all, it's just the generational difference is pronounced!

What are you talking about? This is exactly what dumb kids do in the suburbs. The first thought in my head when i saw this was that is the most suburban white kids thing i've seen in a while.

Great video!

I believe the award requires that it be awarded posthumously or after self-sterilization, meaning permanent removal from the gene pool.

A 20 foot drop to a teenager is at worst a broken ankle.

Parkour is in. Get into it.

You should watch some youtube of the seriously stupid crap kids do. Start with skateboards.

My kid is actually a real climber, with ropes and stuff. Comes home with pics of himself clinging to cliffs hundreds of feet up. He insists it's safe and they know what they're doing, but just thinking about that makes my sphincter quiver. Part of parenting is knowing when to protect and when to let go..........and knowing when anything you say will make a difference!

So did you bother calling the cops, out of concern for their safety?
