Sewer work on 9th Street

Anyone know whats happening on 9th Street ?
Seems like no parking all week during the day for "Sewer Work". Is it just regular maintenance or repairing the combined wastewater / sewer system ? Looks like pretty major efforts

Good, maybe the construction will slow down all the people who think it's OK to drive 50 mph down Monmouth St.

Drove past the corner of 9th & Monmouth yesterday. There are two enormous concrete cylinders, with large openings on the sides, placed in the street on opposite corners. Looks like they are ready to be put in the ground. Could this be a sewer line upgrade?
