LSP south of Interpretive Center totally closed off, including pedestrians and bikes .

The rest is open, but most of parking is for golf.

I bet there are a few condos along the south side of the course that have a good view of at least one hole running parallel... assuming they did not put tarps to block their view?

What's open and what's closed in Liberty State Park during Presidents Cup

If you were planning to take a stroll on the Hudson River Walkway in Jersey City this weekend, your plans may need to change.

A section of the walkway in Jersey City between the Port Liberte community and Liberty State Park is currently closed to the public while the Presidents Cup is played at Liberty National Golf Course. The non-continuous walkway extends from the tip of Bayonne to the George Washington Bridge.

Obama, Bush and Clinton help Presidents Cup tee off in Jersey City

As if the Presidents Cup could start any other way.

The PGA and Liberty National Golf Course are rolling out the red carpet today for the last three U.S. presidents -- Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton -- who are on hand to help tee off the Presidents Cup golf tournament in Jersey City.

The three former presidents, all of whom presided over the tournament as honorary chairmen while in office, are set to appear at the first tee box at the ultra-exclusive waterfront golf course.

Earlier, Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop tweeted a photo of him and his wife Jaclyn speaking with Obama and later tweeted a photo of them with all three former presidents.

JERSEY CITY--It'll be a tee-off like no other.
Three former U.S. presidents are scheduled to open this year's Presidents Cup tournament at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City on Thursday, the PGA announced today.

Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton will be on the course at the first tee to mark the start of the matches, which are played every two years.

World’s Best Golfers to Compete in Jersey City

The Presidents Cup tees off September 28 at Liberty National Golf Club.

By | | September 22, 2017
It’s no exaggeration to say that many of the world’s best male golfers—and all of America’s best—will be in Jersey City next week. They’ll be competing for four days, starting September 28, at Liberty National Golf Club in a premier event, the Presidents Cup.
The four-day tournament pits a team of 12 top U.S. golfers against a similarly stellar group of international professionals. It’s a rare opportunity for the players—including Americans Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler, and international stars Hideki Matsuyama of Japan, Jason Day and Adam Scott of Australia, and South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen—to compete in a team setting. (The format is similar to and inspired by the Ryder Cup, in which a U.S. team faces off against a European lineup.)
