References, income verification, background checks, credit checks, etc, etc... the list goes on and on.

However, as I understand it, there's nothing to stop a landlord from requiring application qualifications like a 700 FICO score, as long as you state it clearly and enforce it equally. I've heard that you must include the the voucher as income in an income based qualification.
