Israeli billionaire Raz Steinmetz is a quiet investor in 15 Manhattan properties owned by Kushner Companies.

Steinmetz, who hails from one of Israel’s richest families, has been working with Kushner since at least 2012, Bloomberg reported. The Downtown Manhattan properties they jointly own are worth $150 million and the two sides also partnered on the Trump Bay Street project in Jersey City, according to Bloomberg.

The Steinmetz family made its fortune in the diamond trade. Raz’s uncle Beny, a diamond trader, has been under criminal investigation in the U.S. for allegedly bribing Guinean officials in exchange for mining rights.

A 29-year-old Jersey City man was arrested Wednesday after authorities say he shot at a vehicle near Berry Lane Park, authorities said.

Adam Wideman, of Van Nostrand Avenue, was arrested and charged with three counts each of conspiracy and criminal attempted murder for shooting at the vehicle, which had three people inside at the time, Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said.

No one was seriously injured in the incident at Bramhall Avenue and Woodward Street, but the driver of the vehicle suffered a minor abrasion to his face caused by broken glass, Morrill said.

An officer working nearby heard the gunshots and was able to radio to police to stop a fleeing vehicle. Wideman's car was stopped at Bayview and Garfield avenues and he was taken into custody, Morrill said.

The investigation is ongoing, Morrill added.

JERSEY CITY - Were two men set up for an armed robbery at a Jersey City motel on Tonnelle Avenue early Friday?

The victims told police they invited a woman to their room and after she stepped out to get ice, she returned with another woman and a man, Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill said today.

When the man with the two women flashed a gun, the victims ran out of the motel room, Morrill said, adding that they said they heard a gunshot as they fled.

Responding Jersey City police officers said they found a bullet hole in a wall in the room. The robbers got away with two cell phones, two debit cards and an identification card. There were no injuries, Morrill said.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Jersey City police tip line at (201) 547 - JAIL.
