Second a Rook- they would do amazingly well here.

Not wanting to go somewhere because it's too hipster even though there's absolutely nothing wrong with the service/products- yeah that sounds totally reasonable. Your yelp reviews must be riveting.

What we need around here is a Rook. That New Orleans cold brew with cream and sugar is like pure liquid gold.

Their coffee is actually quite good, which sets it apart from Starbucks and Au Bon Pain. They do not deliver a heavy dose of hipster douchery, which sets it apart from Lackawanna and Warehouse.

As a home roaster myself, I'll second that, their coffee is very good. A much better option that most chains in the area.

I can't speak for the food but their coffee is much better than the big chains (Starbucks, Au Bon Pain)

I have mixed feelings on Gregorys.
The good:
I was there on a weekday morning and the place was "on fire" as in a good way. The staff was awesome, fast, and there were tons of pastries to chose from.
The not so good:
I was there on a Sunday morning and the staff was awful. There were minimal pastries (only biscotti and one cookie) AND, the musis was SO LOUD I couldn't concentrate or hear what I was listening to on my ear buds.

It's a great addition to the water front for sure, they just need to work out some kinks.
