You can easily tell this is fake by the quote bashing LA and its "fake people."
No publicist would let a major celebrity publicly bash their fans. If they wanted to do a better job with satire, this website would have only stuck with positive quotes about Jersey City, along with something to the effect of "I just thought it was time for a change."

One can never guess what an April Fool's article is these days. There was a long one in the NYtimes on April 1st about a $700 fresh pressed "keurig for juice" machine that I was certain was a joke, and it's real.
