I'd love to find one consistently good. Most get the simple stuff right - but no standouts imo.

I remember this hole in the wall Indian restaurant in Paterson. It was amazing, the chef prepared everything fresh...but we had to wait around 1 or 2....unfortunately the place closed...but i had 4 of the best meals ever.

You just described Morgans Fish Market LOL! the wait is murder, but the food is so worth it.

I am very familiar with South Asian cuisine and i even know the owner of Shadman. While freshly made food is almost always better, it would require lots of time...which many people would not stand for.

Ps. Some Indian foods taste better with time, if they are prepared right. Briyani for example should taste better the next day. :)

Never had NanKing, but Shadman's food is all premade and they put everything into a microwave before serving it to you. It's cheap, and adequate, but I wouldn't call it excellent.

You are probably better off getting delivery from somewhere near JSQ.

Given the many responses restaurant threads get, I figured I would give it a try.

I used to order Rasoi, but the last two times I did the food quality was not good. It was like they changed chefs or something else happened.

Too lazy to cook tonight and the wife feels like Indian food. What places do you like to order delivery from?
