It's a great place for a club/performing arts place. I just hope there is a good dose of live rock, as EDM isn't really my thing.

The expressed lack of craft beer is not that exciting, though. In 2015, craft beer isn't pretentious or niche. Being a bar and saying you won't have it is like being a restaurant and saying you won't have good food.

Perhaps, but (in their defense) it is nice/refreshing to see a bar/lounge/business to be laser focused on their goal/idea and not try to be everything to everyone.

Also, if craft beers are your thing, right next door is Departed Soles, which is slated to open this week, or the next one. I believe they just had a soft opening (for friends and family) and will be soon open to the public. I spoke to the owner two weeks ago and he was super friendly and welcoming. They do all of their brewing on site and I am excited to try them out as soon as they open up.

What was I supposed to conclude from all that information? What data is relevant?

Nothing. More nonsense from FAB. And, to post information about JC as a whole to try and describe a particular neighborhood is rather pointless. While JC has an average household income of around 56K, I can guarantee you that the average household in the PAD, and surrounding area, is probably earning two or thee times that, with many pulling in much more.

I'm betting that this place will draw a lot of customers from outside JC looking for an urban/club experience without paying a tunnel toll.

Probably true, but I really hope that is not the case.

Also, before someone asks, where will they park their dad's car? Those streets are a bit creepy at night. A few break ins or vandalism or muggings could undo this place. What are other peoples' scenarios?

Have you been in the neighborhood anytime over the past year?? In addition to Powerhouse Lounge and O'Hara around the corner, you now have four residential buildings within a block of this place, with two more coming online shortly, all of them luxury buildings. I have never seen any cars broken into within a block or two of this location.

I can count of at least 3 towers with public parking, that are within a 5 minute walk of this place.

Being ancient, I doubt I'll ever see the inside of this place. It sounds like a great idea that could liven up that part of town, though.

Perfect place for a club. That area reminds me of my youth going out in Chicago. I'm thinking they'll play whatever music draws the most $$$. Probably have a large variety those first few weeks.

Not quite sure what to expect. I heard it will be live music focused, but then recently I heard DJ focused. Based on the website, it seems like it will depend on the night.
