Of course, in addition to the asshole owners like the one in your post, we now have to contend with all the fossilized, formerly frozen, turds appearing all over the sidewalks as the snow piles melt away. I have never understood why is it that some people think that when snow is on the ground, they need not pick up after their dogs.

I thought there used to be a thread about dog poop, but i can't find it, so i'll leave this here. I was running in Union City from The Heights on Palisade Ave and saw a woman with two small dogs stop, and let the one dog poop. She watched me as I walked by, and then once I was a little further along, I turned back to watch as she left the poop and kept walking, so I went up to her and:
Me: "Excuse me ma'am, aren't you going to pick up that dog poop?" Woman: "it's not mine" Me: "I just watched your dog poop as I walked by. You can't deny that." Woman: "it's not mine" Me: "I watched it. And I watched you watch me walk past." Woman: "It's not my dog." Me: "What?" Woman: "It's not my dog. I don't have to pick it up." Me: "What are you talking about?! You are walking that dog, you have to pick up the poop!" Woman: "It's not my dog. I'm walking it for a friend. I don't pick up poop" Me: "Are you serious?!" Woman: "I no habla english." ME: "YOU ARE KIDDING ME! YOU JUST SPOKE TO ME IN ENGLISH!" Woman: "No habla english. leave me alone." I couldn't believe it.

In addition to walking dogs under my own name and for another company, I both volunteered & worked for Liberty Humane Society for ten years and worked as a groomer's assistant at Furry Tails Dog Spa & Boutique for two years.
