What do you mean? Didn't you see the first post? They didn't want to win. They are happy they lost, just so they can watch the GOP "squirm."

Makes you wonder how people can type with a straight face lol.

And this idea democrats only lost because of turnout is like saying "ah! We only lost the ballgame because we didn't score enough runs!" Right. That's called LOSING. Considering every news outlet known to man pushed this election across the country, I bring you to my next point.

Contrary to popular opinion, not voting IS a vote in myriad ways.

Dems who stayed home might have done so because they can't stand their nominee but can't hold their noses long enough to vote republican.

Ummmmm...building the pipeline will provide tons of jobs for the middle class so....there's that.

And wait. Keeping illegal aliens illegal. So...enforcing laws is a bad thing?

Man it's hard to degrade ones own intelligence to attempt understanding liberal point of views on some issues. And yet, here I am.

I guess this Dem ass-kicking was different because as the Dems (and Obama) explain it? the loss was because 2/3 of the voters stayed home on election day. Yeah right.

Actually, Chris Matthews lost the thrill up his legs and almost wet his pants-first over the results, then second over Obama's poor response to his ass being kicked. Even Rachel Maddow seems a bit off his feed.
a victory is a victory if only by 1 vote....but people need to keep things in perspective.....talking heads love to be dramatic. i have yet to hear the gop say anything about helping the middle class - just talk about cutting obamacare and cutting corporate taxes and how to get keystone built and keep illegal aliens illegal

I doubt the squirming you are hoping for will match the squirming going on in this city since Tuesday night. It is glorious. And it certainly won't match the squirming going on at MSNBC and the pluffington host. My freud has not been this schaddened since the Sox came back from 3 games down to beat the spankees in the ALCS. Now excuse me while I go to my DVR right now to re-watch MSNBC's Tuesday night broadcast.

Tell me again how sour those grapes are!

I've voted for both sides but this post is just laughable and pathetic. Also, it doesn't belong under "Politics & Government," unless you somehow think your whining is related to Jersey City politics.

Can you spell 'whistling through the graveyard'?

Bad for Clinton-the people she campaigned for did poorly, she was no help.

Bad for Clinton-she can't count on large voter turnout among the black Americans when she runs. While they won't vote for the Republican candidate, they'll just sit home like they did Tuesday.

Bad for Obama-he had his ass kicked, his party is in tatters during his exit years, and the Senate now will join with the House to properly review Benghazi and the IRS scandals, among others.

That's also bad for Clinton.

Bad for Obama/Clinton-several key once blue states are now shifting. Arkansas, Clinton's home state, now doesn't have a Democrat in the House. Obama's Illinois now has a Republican Governor and lost a few Democrat Representatives.

Bad for Democrats-the irony that it took the Republican's to get, finally, a black Senator from a Southern state since Reconstruction.

Bad for Democrats that Mia Love, a black woman from Utah, belies the Democrat lie that Republicans hate women and minorities.

Other than that it was a big win for Obama and his party!

lol! i betcha both hillary and obama were laughing!

i read that only ~84 million voted, compared with 93 million in the 2010 midterms and 130 million in 2008 and 2012. even in furguson, where the people are "up in arms" over racism/police thuggery, only about 40% of eligible voters voted. i would make some sarcastic remarks but i will refrain because jesus teaches _____!

sure they handily beat the democrats in mid-term, but this is not unusual and only 1/3 of eligible voters voted...those who did vote skewed toward gop.

i watched boehner and some other gop members sounding as if they owned dc. i am betting that obama gives amnesty to many illegals and that keystone pipeline remains delayed.....just more gridlock
