We scanned our server and found that jclist.com was not damaged however other files were suspicious so we removed them.

We reconfigured the CFS firewall to prevent hacking.

dreadfully disppointed that:

1. no one suggested that the webmaster's wife/partner is behind this

2. well educated, computer savvy thugs, working from the notorious Black Hack Shack in Newark, NJ are responsible

3. a fundamental flaw in Chinese society is responsible for the hacking. Perhaps the one child policy coupled with the preference for male children resulting in nothing better to do than hacking web sites and masturbation.

So far I have tried this...
- The host company I use has CloudFlare that you can enable and that had a simple checkbox for various countries. Unfortunately for us, CloudFlare caused some other image loading problems so we had to disable it.
- Currently I load a list of IP addresses into our .htaccess file on the server. I get the list from the site below and update regularly. It seems to be helping, my hits from China are not registering or they are so low they fall under "other".

Can you do a blanket IP block for China?

Our server was hacked today by this IP from China: 222.39.112.12

We are presently looking into resolving this issue.
