Blame the parents? Why not the teachers too? Why stop there, isn't it the fault of the light rail conductor who brought them to Hoboken? Here's an idea: let's blame the criminals themselves. It's called ACCOUNTABILITY.

Yes, isn't this one of the arguments between liberals and conservatives, where we should be really on top of our kids in terms of how we are raising them towards what kind of citizens they become?
If kids are committing criminal acts such as this, don't the parents/guardians somehow bear some responsibility, as they are 13-14 years old? You have to know who your kids are hanging out with - what kind of people they are and if you've any doubts, make sure they are on the straight and narrow. Quote:

Outrageous behaviour! Why is it whenever there is an incident like this ,it is always multiple young persons on one single person?? Whenever it's a single person who kills another person, they always use a weapon but if it's beating, these cowards need to gang up. And..because of their age...they get off scott free!
I am so effing sick of even hearing about these lowlifes. They should be publicly beaten along with their neglectful parents.

Three teenage boys have been charged with the murder of a Hoboken man who was found with his neck wedged between iron fence posts on Third Street in Hoboken, Hudson County Acting Prosecutor Gaetano T. Gregory said late tonight.
The boys, two 13-year-olds and a 14-year-old, all from Jersey City, face murder charges and have been remanded to the Hudson County Youth Detention Center, Gregory said. Homicide detectives believe the boys traveled on the Light Rail from Jersey City to Hoboken prior to the attack, Gregory said. Read more
