A construction fence has been put around Borinquen Hardware building. (Jersey, across from Europa). Anyone know what it will be?
Looks like the resto at the corner of Monmouth and Newark has open. The menu says it is fusion churrascaria. Maybe they omitted the con.

Does anyone know what/if anything is going on the corner of grand and bright? The place on the island/triangle. They were putting new pavers down prior to Sandy.

It looks like the small subterranean storefront adjacent (to the north) of the old Ducky's space on Grove Street is under construction. Just wondering if anybody has any intel?

I also saw construction going on next door to future Monty's. What's the deal with Monty's? Work has been going on there for almost a year, with NO visible results, haha. Hopefully it's not too "sporty", as we have enough of that already. We just need a good old fashioned, comfortable bar with one or two TVs.
The old Jack's Toy Store spot (next to Made with Love) has a "Rented" sign on the window. I wonder what's going there?

I didn't say the Hudson Camera space. The name of that space will be Monty's sports bar. I'm talking about the space between that space and the deli on the corner. There has recently been a ton of construction going on in there.

Whats happening in the 'backyard' of the B&G club? A double-wide showed up a few months ago, then a parking strip was cut out. Now, the double-wide has a nice skirt around it. Looks like whatever it is, is there for the long haul.

imo, Stop & Shop could do a lot more with the property they have...why keep building these mega-grocery stores? Why not focus more on quality and productivity?

What about the huge vacant lot/area of property in the Heights where Stop & Shop was going to move to. Between Laidlaw & Jefferson/Central & Summit. They are digging up the soil with construction vehicles inside there. I am hearing now that it may become a school.

What's happening on Jersey Ave, behind the light rail station? Earthmovers and trucks have been at it since last week, clearing up and leveling the site. Is some construction going to start soon?
