You people are pathetic. I've been here 20+ years and have seen dog hair in the park literally a handfull of times and you are trying to posture it as a REAL PROBLEM. N-Word Please!

PICK IT UP AND PACK IT OUT. Mmmkthxbye

I remember when this park was being redesigned and that the basketball court was questionable so maybe a dog run should have been as well. When Terrace Park in the Heights was being redesigned the local block association adamantly stated no more basketball courts they decided to have tennis courts instead. The association worked together with the head of the DPW at the time which was about 15 years ago.

I could argue that having a siht in the park is great for the soil, birds can pick out any nuts I had eaten and its a big win for nature !

Colleen and Douglas, I think your attention is needed around the basketball court.

And is dog hair really "disgusting"? Saw a big clump of human hair on a subway seat yesterday. Now that's a disgusting sight.

+1 trucker

Not only do the birds love the stuff but other animals such as squirrels use it for nesting material.

Also, since hair is a natural material it is biodegradeable.

Really?! This is what your day is occupied by. I'm annoyed with the children in the park but I'm not about to try and stop them from coming.

That's actually a good idea. In the spirit of living in a "city" or urban environment I think I'll start brushing my dog there as well.
