Which site do they have the garbage pick up schedule posted on for different areas of JC? I know the days for my old address but seems to be different in PH and my landlord just got a ticket which i will have to pay:(

I looked out of the window just after midnight and all the garbage and plastic recyclables were picked up on Jersey Ave. By this morning around 7 AM, the cardboard was already gone.

went out with the garbage and no one on the block had theirs out at 11 so brought it back in..

If I hear the trucks I'll bring it out...

BUMP - should we bring out the recycling tonight?? I see one or two containers on my block, but that's it.

I can't find anything on the JC website about any change in tonight's trash/recycling pick up. I'm in the Hamilton Park area. Anyone know anything?

No pick up on bright street last night or grand. When i walked my dog several times today, it was delightful to see the bags of garbage peeking out of the blackened snow banks, especially liked stepping over the queen sized mattress blocking the roadway back by gull's cove, and the box spring that was splattered a few feet from it. Our walk was capped off with a few blocks' worth of blue dye dribbled all over the barely peeking through sidewalk and i took a moment to breathe in the zen of garbage infused snow street hell that manifested itself. Yummy!

The garbage truck just came thru on our block (montgomery & grove), on the opposite side (as their usual schedule and route). I hope they'll come around and pick up our side of the curb too.

perhaps some areas will have pick up today?

No pick up here and am at grand and grove. usually they are here by now.

I live on Montgomery (around Grove), should I take my trash out tonight, or keep it nice and warm inside?

I call the general mayor's office number during business hours -- do not know of an info line... The mayor's office advised during the last snow storm that when it snows like this there is no trash pick up, and they resume the next available date where they left off ... i didn't put it out tonight, and usually it's picked up at 10 pm so i'll let you know shortly if they come but highly doubt it and no one on my block has their trash out.

Does anyone know of a number you can call to get updates on the trash schedule? Their doesn't seem to be much useful information on the JCIA website. I would really hate to place my trash out tonight only to have to dig it out of the snow and bring it back inside tomorrow morning.
