This is exactly why many people are reluctant to "snitch". In this case the suspect already knew where the victim lived before hand but even if he did not know he would of found out. He could have easily got the same info from his lawyer. Everything from the victim's name to adress and even every word he said when interviewed by police is written down and handed to the lawyer of the suspect.

Well they didn't give the guy's address. Obviously the criminal knew where the guy lived because he carjacked him in front of his house already.
I doubt the criminal was informed that the carjacking victim spoke up. The criminal probably just assumed that the carjacking victim had a hand in identifying the criminal. What should be analyzed, is - why the hell didn't they have the guy behind bars after the hearing??????

Seriously, that's incredible that at the indictment he was told who the owner of the car was, and probably his address, and then was released to go kill him, this is ridiculous. It's more than ridiculous. There has to be a lawsuit in this somewhere? Can his family sue?

These hoodlums have a lot of power, I can't believe he went back the next day and killed his carjack victim. The criminal should be maimed not exacuted. Let him rot in jail minus some vital organs.

Scorn heaped on Bloods gang member sentenced to life plus 50 years in prison for vicious Jersey City killing
Wednesday, April 21, 2010 By MICHAELANGELO CONTE JOURNAL STAFF WRITER A Bloods gangster who sat slumped in a wheelchair as he was sentenced yesterday to life in prison plus 50 years for murder was called by the prosecutor after the hearing a "cringing coward who wouldn't even accept his sentence like a man." "They are all tough-guy-Bloods as long as they have a gun and can shoot someone in the back," said Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Michael D'Andrea of Ahmmad Johnson, 28, of Irvington, who would become eligible for parole after age 130. Johnson was convicted of murdering a carjacking victim to cover up his attempted murder of his girlfriend's father. Yesterday, Johnson was cleared mentally and medically at the Hudson County jail in Kearny before being brought to Jersey City to be sentenced by Superior Court Judge Paul DePascale. But when he was taken off the elevator in the County Administration Building in Jersey City, he dropped to the ground and tried to hit his head on the floor. Then he became unresponsive and never said another word. His attorney asked for a postponement, but D'Andrea noted Johnson had acted out during the trial as well and told DePascale: "The defendant is no more catatonic than I am." The carjacking victim, Piotr Raczek, who lived in the Jersey City Heights, was murdered on Aug. 31, 2005 outside his Thorne Street home. In early 2005, Johnson got his 19-year-old girlfriend pregnant but her family didn't approve of him and convinced her to have an abortion, which angered Johnson. On March 3, 2005, Johnson carjacked Raczek's blue Subaru sports car at gunpoint, and two days later used the vehicle in a drive-by shooting in which he shot the girlfriend's father in the face. The father survived and gave police a description of the car. On March 8, his wife and daughter were followed by a blue Subaru in Newark and they got the plate number. On Aug. 10, 2005, Johnson was indicted for the carjacking and, at an Aug. 30 hearing, he learned Raczek had connected him to the carjacking and therefore the drive-by shooting. The next day, Johnson killed Raczek in front of his Thorne Street home, prosecutors said.
