I'm not a Tux wearer -- but there are lots of places in Manhattan... as for Jersey City...

http://www.thetuxshopnj.com

is the only place I see on google -- it has places in Hoboken & Bayonne -- but no JC.

- Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Got to agree with those who suggested buying. The break even point vs renting is pretty low - 3 or4 wearings. Sometimes if you are in a wedding party they want you to wear some cockamamie frilled shirt or odd color. I guess that's when it's best to rent.

If you have access to wheels, you may want to try Century 21 or Syms in Secaucus. My husband bought a new one at Syms for the price of 1.5 rentals and I think they may have even done the hemming for free...

Anyone know where is the best place around to rent or buy a tux? I would prefer to rent, but would consider buying if the price was good....
