Similar experience here: I have had GEICO for over 15 years (almost 20 now) and the two times I have had claims (once for myself in an accident in which I was rammed by someone at an intersection, the other an accident in which my ex was at fault) and the claim process was always SUPER smooth and simple, and both instances were handled quickly and without hassle.

I have also shopped around my rate and the last time I did so (about two years ago, dealing with USAA, which is normally very competitive) the agent told me there was NO WAY they could even come close to what I was getting with GEICO.

Dinger - could you explain that a bit more or give an example?
Not familiar with ISO forms... Thanks to all for thoughts...

You should always stick with insurers thst write business using standard ISO forms. Neither Geico nor Manufacturers do so. You won't be thinking about the premium dollars you saved when your claim is denied because of non-standard language in the coverage form.

I don't rent but I have auto insurance through Geico and and got my Condo H06 insurance through them. I can't recommend them highly enough. Every time I've shopped around, they always seem to have the lowest rate. Their customer service reps are incredibly nice and their mobile apps are the best designed apps I have come across. Also you can earn things like "Accident forgiveness" if you've been with them a while and haven't had any records.

I have everything through NJ Manufacturer's. You have to work for a company that belongs to the NJ Business & Industry Association to qualify though.

The savings were so huge that I wished years ago, I formed an LLC and joined NJBIA just to get the insurance.

Very happy with Progressive bundles - I ended up saving a lot over my old local insurance agent that I had for years and years. Their interface is easy, you can get all of your docs online and I've found their customer service to be terrific. Good luck!
