And with all the programs and grants for families and children in the inner cities and ghettos you would think these brazen robberies would end. It seems it is the same profile demographic from generation to generation commiting the crimes. I bet the cops are saying "here we go again" !

All the programs, grants, etc. are simply part of the safety net, meant to ameliorate some of the pathologies of urban poverty. The reciprocal relationship between crime and any policy, program, or government initiative is admittedly hard to assess. To JCMan8's point - people make a choice to commit crimes, they are not "forced", but society does have a role in creating meaningful alternatives - here the old argument for decreasing crime by increasing opportunity, particularly JOB opportunities, bears repeating. And here is where our elected officials and unelected ruling class has failed society - all of us - miserably, by exporting and off-shoring our industries, giving capital priority, etc.

Shhh. Didn't you get the message that we are not supposed to talk about that! We are supposed to blame society instead (or anything else you can think of), for forcing these people to commit such crimes. Get with the program.

the 4 dumb-ass bozos

the PATH is littered with CCTV on platforms and if a victim reports it to police quick enough, they'll be able to get the footage of the bozos

well done to the victim that sought police intervention immediately

Wow, I'm shocked the robbers all came from Newark. They need to figure out a way to seal off Newark from Jersey City.
