Yes, Hoboken Comedy Festival looks promising! But it looks like I'll be at the Comedy Cellar to get my fix. You think there's any demand for a dedicated comedy club in JC?

The Brightside Tavern always has comedy.... nice stage with good sight lines for every seat.

Art House used to do them right downtown in Hamilton Park in the old hospital building.
Unfortunately they moved all the way over to the west side of Journal Square. Robin.

there used to be one at the place that then became Powerhouse Lounge. I saw Stand Up at the Lamp Post once before, not sure if it is or was a regular thing. In the meantime, http://www.hobokencomedyfestival.org/

I went to see Louis CK yesterday at MSG and was reminded of how much I love comedy. I frequently head over the river to the cellar to see good standup.
Is there a comedy club in Jersey City or Hoboken? What does it take to open one?
