Take the ramp with the concrete wall that goes up behind Dickinson.

I'm not sure what you mean, "get around the CSX tunnel." It runs parallel to the cut, but you don't have to deal with it. Of course, you could walk through it, but I wouldn't want to be in there if a train come through. The noise would be insane.

Either downtown @ end of Division Street or thru the back of Dickinson or jump the wall along Washburn Street and climb down into the crevice - not a hiking trail by far and full of skanks, shopping carts, homeless junkies and ex JC politicians.

Go-Pro that shit and bring a shiv.

As far as I know, the cut-through is still there. But do be on the lookout. Still, people go through there all the time. On bicycle too. 20151017-_IGP6365

I think thats only if you try to go through the fences during normal working hours.

It looks like you might be able to enter by the side parking lot at Dickinson ?

Not sure if you can get past all the fencing - though there's a cut-through in the fence people may be using. NW corner of Enos Jones - opposite the baseball field. There are security patrols - so don't be surprised if you are led away in cuffs.

does anyone know if there are hiking trails through these areas ?

I tried to access from downtown but it looks like you have to walk up the hill at Dickinson and over the CSX rail tunnel.

is this accessible from an easier way ?
