I loved the part about the rent hike too. We need more posers and ex-pats who only live here for a year or two because it's convenient and really don't give a crap about the neighborhood.
Enjoy that while you can landlord, the rent boom isn't going to last, it never does. Owning will cost as much as renting(or be less) and the economy will eventually plateau allowing people to buy again, albeit at much lower prices.

I'm not sure I approve of the WSJ saying positive things about Hamilton Park before I've had a chance to buy something yet. And what about that greedy landlord talking about raising the rent from $1800 to $2100 over two years. Ridiculous! Scandalous!
