Where is any follow-up story? An entire urban area is shutdown during rush hour and nobody reports on the findings?

This is ridiculous and doesn't happen in any other area/ward.

Reports of suspicious package close down Journal Square area

By Ron Zeitlinger/The Jersey Journal The Jersey Journal

Kennedy Boulevard near the transit hub Journal Square has been closed as Jersey City police, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police and the Jersey City Fire Department have responded to what initial reports are calling a suspicious package.

The swell of activity is on the southbound side of Kennedy Boulevard at the overpass that is opposite the taxi stand. That is directly above train tracks. All the sidewalks are closed in the area as well.

As for the roads, Kennedy Boulevard is closed from Cottage Street to the intersection of Bergen Avenue and Sip Avenue.

Got off the PATH train at Journal Square on the evening rush hour greeted by a scene of massive police presence, yellow tape blocking off numerous and seemingly random streets and sidewalks and emergency equipment and cop vehicles all over. One Cop with a shotgun. No traffic allowed at all on JFK Blvd so traffic is baked up all over. As I type this forty minutes later I hear car horns blaring- its quarter to six Thursday and cars aren?t moving.
