Update

I arrived home from work with the offending vehicle still there. Called the police who directed me to the parking authority. They said they would send someone. 5 -6 hours later the parking authority call me back to ask if the car is still there. I check and it is. I then see a parking authority vehicle ticket it. As of this morning the vehicle is still there ticket and all.

If I called the Parking Authority and nothing is done then I call the police. If still nothing I will take a picture of the offending vehicle with license plate in full view and send it to Officer Dina Reilly of the East District and to Steven Fulop. Describe your course of action and let them know the lack of response is unacceptable. Sometimes you have to embarrass people/ city departments in order to wake them up. Unfortunately no city agency is proactive so we as residents have to be.

Last night I called the police non emergency numb on a car parked in front of a fire hydrant. I don't think anyone ever came as this morning the car was still there. I have the vehicle's plate number. Should I call the police again or try writing a council person?
