Two thumbs up for JP New Construction.
Stay away from Garden State Brickface - it's a sloppy job that won't last long.

+1 for JP New Construction. Used them a while back. Very thorough and very reasonable rates.

J.P. New Construction...

Best, most reliable contractor I have every used and a genius with brownstone repair. He's been working in this area since at least the 1980s so he knows how these buildings are constructed.

The facade of our 4-story brownstone has cracks and we're seeing water damage on the walls of some of the units. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good company for repairs (and we may also do a repointing at the same time if the price is good).

Thanks in advance.

Also - will we need a permit (from the Historical preservation committee?) for this type of work?
