So was it the parked car that T-boned someone? Best to take off the Dre Headphones and look both ways.

Complain to Fulop, and perhaps after a year he will help. Also we should have more free spots. The signs limit too many spots near corners. Just look at the corner of York and Grove...we could easily have 4-6 more spots here. I also think all muni-lots should be free overnight, until the muni workers get it 9am, as WE pay for the lots.

A positive addition. Much better than all the ghetto murderers and the ever growing low income housing population here. These girls are laughing all the way to the bank and back again.

bionic hearing? might be useful if used justly. Not in love with rules changing on a whim. Why would Fulup endorse this?
Diversity for diversity sake takes out accolades, education and merit and is plain un-American, or well it is typical for JC decisions. Let the town vote on this, ie all tax payers.

I'll vote for the candidate that believes that smaller (costing) government and lower taxes are paramount to well paid public employees that put their demands over the needs and concerns of the residents. Too much of our dollars go to salaries and benefits, leaving a decrepit infrastructure, no museum, and ever increasing taxes.

Perhaps they can stop with the Saturday morning street cleaning..really a nuisance.
$52 dollars..nice offer, they'll extort what they want, and if you don't pay..then the next owner will.
My dream is to have a city government that actually likes their residents

How about adding more spots and chill-out with all the street cleaning car shuffling crap. Even on Saturday morning we have to move the car. It is a sad state of affair to get revenue this way...I see too many No Parking here to corner signs, that serve little purpose. Allow city lots to used free from 8pm to 8am, as we pay for it anyway..And city can boot & charge the folks that dis-obey.

1) OWS has no cohesive message.
2) There are many more hedge fund people that are struggling than are wealthy, as with 8000+ hedge funds, the top 5% gets most the assets. 300-1000 go under each year. Its really a mom and pop business, some make it, many others don't.
100% get no bailout money from the Government,
2.5) Congress can do insider trading, NO one else can, (maybe Goldman) ask Raj Rajaratnam.
3) Why do smart people in other fields get passes for being rich? Technology, real-estate, agricultural, rail-roads..etc..
4) I know hedge funds better than most.
5) OWS should ask how many more folks in DC are making over 100k, since BHO snuck in the White House.
6) Fannie Mae bonuses are on us!
Good Night to all 99 & top 1.

Fixing the sewers so Flooding doesn't destroy businesses twice a year. Please contact MUA if you concur with this sentiment. Yes permits take way too long, and stopping Abatement might allow takes to taxes to chill-out. These damn food carts are also destroying Store front eateries.

This is One move I applaud, from city council. Jobs, increased tax roll, with no Illegal kids in our schools. This company;any company has the power to move, ie to Georgia, DE, or another state with less taxes than here. The employees moving here or just eating here is a plus.

This is total BS, grow up, take an Econ 101 course. We live in a free market economy. Move or Pay-up, and thank your god, that you are not stuck selling an underwater property, and you have a job.

answer to question, hard line financiers seem to Republican, so the answer seems to be yes. If people got nearly what they put into this system, our sewers would work, and taxes would be less, with no abatements and 1/2 price two family houses. We have way too much subsidized housing for one town to support. Too many double dippers.
Seems a proponent of this thought-stream would have to run on a D-ticket to even have a chance..and would still lose.

With so many candidates, perhaps two rounds of votes would yield 2 candidates that more citizens can agree with.

100% agree with eckster, I used www.msl2u.com. all the exposure, and 2.5% sommision. Really tough to do it all on your own, could be impossible, and I think you'll get atleast 2.5% more in your pricing going this route.

EPA has already conceded to this a long time ago, in foul weather conditions. Ideally they just want the poo segregated from the cleaner storm water run off.

HEY UMA / JC, get on the ball. Enough of this flooding.

Anyone that spent 37 years in a JC union job has to be inclined to cater to union demands which in turn puts huge strains on the other tax-payers. Any other candidates?

sewer and water rates are rising this year, and the Reval will kill many homeowners. All abatements should be fought against with vigor.

respectfully do not agree. A class action suit is needed to make the town move on this or pay us out. I've spent about $25k trying to fend off the water... to no avail.
Taking a step further...if we had police cuts would you hire your own security force? If the sidewalk was ripped up in front of your stoop, would you pay to fix it? If the street Lamps were out, do you climb up and change them?

On Grove. Seems recent road construction made things worse than ever, as rain did not appear worse than usual. Then JCMUA people were fixing drain pipes on Grove today..a band aid I imagine.

City Hall is the problem. They've been waiting on final town sign-off, (I think C.O). Since beginning of the month. I was in there then, and tables were actually set, and all employees have been hired (or identified).
