It was fireworks, scared the heck out of me while i was out there walking my dogs. Came from down jersey ave some where.

That's the area I heard them come from too - like Newark/Columbus

I also heard them. At about 10:21/10:22. I'm over near Van Vorst Park, a block away from Christopher Columbus. I thought the two pops seemed to come from the direction of Christopher Columbus/Newark Ave.
Heard quick sirens within 5 minutes, saw flashing lights on my street that quickly passed.

There was a bunch of fireworks North of HP about 10mins ago...somewhere over in the heights, west of Hoboken..

I'm on 2nd & Jersey and I heard two quick pops. It definitely sounded like gun shots
