Just can't stay away

A protest this powerful might just might turn the tide and allow Obama to overcome near impossible odds to win New York and New Jersey.

Quite a regular

What a joke.
Didn't Motley Crue break up years ago? I bet they all drove to their Saabs and Volvos to the protest, thereby contributing buckets of CO2 to the atmosphere.

10 dedicated patriots, standing bravely in the rain, waving at cars. With their arts n crafts Crayola marker signs with pasted magazine pages on them. At a major crossing to the greatest city in the world.
They advertised (even on this site!) They publicized. They got the word out. They spoke truth to power, They ORGANIZED. All 10 of em. Very effective. Very powerful stuff. Hope. Change. GWB

MoveOn rolls over McCain by The Jersey Journal Wednesday July 09, 2008, 7:43 PM EMILY ANNE EPSTEIN / THE JERSEY JOURNAL Protesters organized by liberal advocacy group MoveOn.org gathered at the gas stations near the Holland Tunnel in Jersey City today to protest Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain's bid for the White House. Shouting slogans like, "Stop the reign! Stop McCain!" the demonstrators sought to tie McCain to "Big Oil" and the rising fuel prices. According to MoveOn, McCain's campaign employs over 100 lobbyists, and a dozen of his top advisors' firms have lobbied on behalf of major oil corporations. He has received over $1 million in lifetime support from oil and gas companies. McCain's campaign has promoted ending the United States' dependence on foreign oil, finding cleaner alternative fuels. You can find more about his energy policies here.
