I have a great place available in Paulus hook. Just slightly above your budget but not too far.

let me know if you want to check it out. Brand new never lived in. Steps to Exchange Place. And much better then anything you would find in Newport

Go up to Grove street and stop by one of the many realtors there I'm sure they can find something for you.

There are a ton of choices. Look on the other side of NewPort Mall. There are a ton of deals there. The walk to the PATH is only 10 mins and the mall doors are open 24/7.
The Roosevelt is a good choice. By Grove, there are two new bldgs. Grove Point even has an outdoor pool. It is 2K. 50 Columbus is also a new bldg. You would be the first to live in them.

Paulus Hook is a nice area close to the Exchange Place PATH. You could find a decent 1 BR for $2100.

Downtown JC is good too, close to the Grove St PATH.

You might want to look around Grove Street, which is not Exchange place, but since its literally 5 blocks from exchange place, its not that much father. $2,000 should get a very large and nice 1 bedroom or smaller 2 bedroom in that area.

I am looking for apartment close to Newport or Exchange place. The budget is $2000-2100 permonth. Most of the apartments in newport that fits my budget have very tiny kitchen and heard have roaches too. The ones that I like are really high... my husband works in newyork and areas far from the hudson river do not seem to be very exciting. 700-800sqft is more than enough.

I tried searching craigslist but cannot find anything under my budget. PLEASE let me know if anybody knows what a better way to find apartments in the Jersey city area or if there are decent apartments close to the path stations.

I do not wish to stay at shady areas. :(

THANK YOUUUUUUUU!
Marz
