Went in last night and got the steak salad and The Grove sandwich. Food was really good, steak was juicy (not dry) and the sandwich was awesome...fresh ingredients, no skimping on the meats and the mozze was amazing. Will definitely be back...looking forward to trying the taylor ham & cheese on Saturday mornings.

Alterations to Go - thats the place on Washington b/w Morris and Sussex.

They have in house tailors that specialize in either mens or womens alterations. Have always done a good job on everything I've taken there.

There used to be a really good bakery on york st near grove where the comic book store is.

I think the owner still makes cakes, but doesnt have a store front.

I forget the name. Anyone know? I know they have her card and info at Tia's by the front of the store.

Checked this place out last night...We ordered two platefuls of food - goulash/pierogies/cabbage and pierogies/stuffed cabbage/garden salad.

We hardly spoke as we stuffed our faces with an amazing amount of food for $15.

I felt like I was at a friend's house and her grandmother was making me a home cooked meal.

Definitely worth checking out.

We checked out City Vino on Saturday night before a night out in manhattan and I have to say that I had a great time. Good tapas, good wine and great service. I particularly liked the breads on the menu, especially the caprese and the potato croquettes were extra tasty.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Looking forward to hanging out here this fall/winter.

Paulus Hook is a nice area close to the Exchange Place PATH. You could find a decent 1 BR for $2100.

Downtown JC is good too, close to the Grove St PATH.

Dropped by there this afternoon. Great food and great service. Had the Greek Salad and a bagel with cream cheese with green olives. One of my friends got the Lebanese sandwich (SO GOOD). They gave us samples of the strawberry lemonade and let us try the baklava (best baklava I've ever had!!! pistachios on top and walnuts in the middle).

I hope this place does well. It has a nice personal small town feel. The owner didn't have to, but he gave up a few minutes of his time to speak to us. Will definitely be back.
