taxpayer funds pay for the common good; private funds can pay for the superior good.

I’ll go a step further.
Parents who send their kids to private school or home school should get a credit from the school board. It costs upwards of $22,000 a year to educate a single student in Jersey City public schools with not much to show for it. Give parents 1/4 of that - $5,500 a year. It would save tax payer money as the other $16,500 won’t be needed. On another note, I would love to see the state implement policies to starve out these provincial school board fiefdoms systems and go to countywide school boards. All these boards in each municipality reeks of racism.

not sure anyone is complaining... but you raise a good point, why should people paying for their kids private school education also have their tax dollars used to support a public education system they do not use?
Only asking because this board has been a little boring lately :)

St. Dominic Academy $10,590 per year. You can attend SDA for 3 years for close to the cost of one year at this school. Just wow.
