Yes, it is strange that an award ceremony that was created to honor females who serve the community was being corrupted in the name of politics. There are many good people who do volunteer work in Ward E and it is a shame that they were overlooked for politics.

I think Yvonne is just pissed that nobody has ever wanted to nominate her.

" So you are saying Fulop abused this award and ignored the females who worked at block associations, volunteered at senior events, or do other things to make Ward E a better place to live? Are you trying to say the mayor is that shallow person? I am still curious what a 24 year did in order to earn this award.

In 2012, Fulop was still a councilman when this award is given in March of that year, so why did the councilman honor someone outside his ward? The address indicates someone in Wards C or D.

Jersey City police responded to Mayor Steve Fulop's home on Ogden Avenue in the Heights around 7:30 tonight after a woman was found inside the house, according to sources.
The sources said it was the second arrest of the same stalker. A 30-year-old female was arrested and charged with burglary, harassment, and stalking, said city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione.
