I second the use of Reliable Tree Service. I've used them for routine maintenance AND tree removal. They do work around Jersey City and understand what may / may not be needed to document with the City, as well as work near power lines, etc.

I used Tree Nanny (Chris) earlier this year to trim a large cherry tree. Was happy with both knowledge, service and cost. I don't have his number handy however his company and info is on Yelp.

Try reliable tree service. They do all sorts of things. I used them to cut and remove a pole in my backyard and they were quite efficient, cleaned and removed everything for a reasonable price.

Can anyone recommend a company that can remove a tree in my backyard? I have a tree that is infested with pear rust and it looks like it's dying.

Thanks!
