This may end up being mine and EasyGibson's favorite restaurant of all time if that open til 3am weekend taco window starts pulling away some of the lingering Talde crowd.

I'm surprised that this venue is allowed given how it is surrounded by all residential. I can't imagine the neighbors from the bathhouse to the residences on Columbus are going to be happy about this? Did it have to receive any approvals? Must have missed that.

Joe's moved to Bayonne.
Place was great in walking distance, but is probably still just fine in ubering distance.

the view in any direction from Maxwell Alley leaves a lot to be desired. They've been gutting the building for awhile now, it's gonna be pretty big 2500sf or so.
Parking is tough around there so I guess they figure people will walk over from the Path. I'm wondering if the JC bar/restaurant boom is getting ahead of itself. Lotta places in the works. Time will tell...

Everytime I went to Joe's auto/electric (rip) on Maxwell ally I always thought.....this here dank alleyway needs a taqueria with
outdoor seating. Dreams do come true.

I look forward to NIMBYs whining about the amount of limes being thrown into their back yards from the rooftop patio, which will certainly become a drunken weekend catastrophe pending acquisition of a liquor license.
