palisades lumber is CLOSED. i hear they want to replace that site with a fabulous new apartment building.

are you in a historic area? if so, this plus condo rules could limit your choices

Hello. I'm sure this is well-covered territory here, but I couldn't find anything recent on this. I am looking to replace two windows in my apartment. Taking recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if the job is too small, but they do very good work.

Within our building, we've had good experiences with:

(1) RWC, which carries Marvin products, ask for Eric Garcia - http://www.rwcnj.com (they've installed 2 windows and 1 sliding glass door in my home, and have done installations in at least 2 other homes in our building).

(2) Pella Window and Door Showroom of Springfield, 973-912-8822 (they installed a neighbors windows and she was very happy).

(3) Palisades Lumber in the Heights, which carries Marvin products. They can also recommend an installation person if you need one.

Some condo owners have also worked with Home Depot, but the exterior colors can be limited depending on what criteria you're obligated to work within.

Hope this helps.

Hi all. We own a condo in DTJC and are looking for a person to install windows in our place. Its a fourth floor, with no elevator. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
