Tribeca Pediatrics is owned and founded by Dr. Michael Cohen. His approach to childcare permeates the Tribeca Pediatrics practice. He is from France so the approach to children's healthcare is a little bit more "laissez-faire" than your typical practice in the U.S. That being said I wouldn't characterize it as "crunchy"
He wrote a book called "The New Basics: A-to-Z Baby; Child Care for the Modern Parent?. If you read a few pages of it you'll probably get a feel for the approach Tribeca Pediatric takes. I've been taking my 2 children there since they were born and they've done OK by me. My kids have been fully immunized like clock-work.

Sorry - I may have been unclear. I absolutely do have my child vaccinated and want to ensure Tribeca requires vaccinations as well. That said, are they a "crunchy" practice otherwise?

There is also Riverside in Paulus Hook. One of the nice things about this group is that they have many locations and the one in Secaucus is open everyday.

We are also looking for a pediatrician in the area. I have heard mixed reviews of Tribeca - specifically that they are more holistic and hesitant to prescribe antibiotics. Also, do they require all patients to get vaccinated or do they accept children at the practice who are not vaccinated? They are convenient, but not sure if that makes the switch worth it. Any opinions on this?

I second Tribeca Pediatrics at Hamilton Park.
There is also Riverside Pediatrics which is quite popular, but I was impressed with their Paulus Hook location.

Hello Everyone,
My wife and I are expecting in July. I am doing some research about hospitals and Pediatricians in JC area. I posted a question about JCMC and Hackensack hospitals. I didn't get much response on JCMC and I have heard hacksack is like a 4 star hotel and nurse staff is great. Now I wanted to know if you can suggest Pediatricians in JC or nearby towns.
