Re: Jersey City mulls changes to pedestrian plaza to address rowdy bar-goers

The fundraisers/scammers are there every night, always harassing people asking for money. If they want to raise money, why not set up a table and people can approach them? That seems much more legitimate and much less annoying than the constant questioning I get every night on my way home from work.

Thanks! Helpful to know, and I will take a look at that book.

Sorry - I may have been unclear. I absolutely do have my child vaccinated and want to ensure Tribeca requires vaccinations as well. That said, are they a "crunchy" practice otherwise?

We are also looking for a pediatrician in the area. I have heard mixed reviews of Tribeca - specifically that they are more holistic and hesitant to prescribe antibiotics. Also, do they require all patients to get vaccinated or do they accept children at the practice who are not vaccinated? They are convenient, but not sure if that makes the switch worth it. Any opinions on this?

maybe we can get a river of salty tears to wash it away?

Oh I don't find it offensive at all. Just think it's horribly ugly.

Agree that the mural is extremely tacky. Not a fan.

Completely agree about Metropolis Towers - a horrible eyesore. Unfortunately, the renderings appear to show the towers in the background, so I don't think they're going anywhere.

Thank you all for the feedback! It seems like people have many positive things to say about The Brunswick School, which is reassuring for us.

I would be interested in hearing more about The Brunswick School. We are considering it for our infant, but would love to get more feedback on the program.

I think you need to do some more research before you adopt a dog, especially if you have never had one before. I know nothing about white boxers, but I can tell you that any dog can lose its hearing, and that is a very minor concern in a dog. If you "do not want to get into this", you may not want to own a dog at all. Dogs can have various health problems at any age, and they need an owner who will love them regardless. In addition, you need to be sure that you are prepared for a dog in other ways, not just with its health concerns - do you have the time and money to properly train and care for a dog? A dog will be in your family for many years, so you need to be ready for the responsibility that goes along with it.
