John's also delivers, if you're looking to be particularly lazy on a frosty Sunday morning.

Madam Claude's will always be the best restaurant in town. Brunch, dinner, whatever. They're the best.

Kitchen at Grove St. has some really cool stuff. Went there for the first time two weeks ago and had a great meal. Mod Cup coffee in house, delicious sandwiches, homemade donuts for a finishing move. Solid meal, comfy booths.

We brunch all over owntown, I try to get everywhere because it's my favorite meal out. I don't know about best, but the three spots we frequent over and over are:

Skinner's Loft. It never, ever disappoints. I'm an eggs benedict junkie and theirs are always on point. My other half likes their steak and eggs. And we both like that little bowl/basket of biscuits and muffins. I hog the chocolate chip muffiny goodness things when they're included.

Roman Nose when Mr. Hippieshowguy wants pasta and I need that egg sammie they do. And the blood orange spritzer.

9th and Coles for the laid back vibe and the specials ... and the shrimp & grits and sausage gravy and biscuits always on the menu.

Going to try Bell + Gray in the upcoming weeks. They just hired my kid, so ... gotta get there!

Madame Claude Cafe.

10 minute walk from the grove street path. Just off Newark Avenue, corner of 4th and Brunswick.

Brunch there is good.

Impressed with the Stewed Cow in Hoboken. BBQ meets Breakfast -- seems so simple, yet I'd never had it before.
