I actually need a cat groomer. My cat has lumped or matted hair which I can't get out. Do the doggie recommendations apply to cats as well?

I have a older seal point himalayan and took her to Cozy Cuts in Hoboken twice for a lion cut. She came home unstressed and looking very cute.

Cozy Cuts

Prior to this I used Groomingdales until they closed

Susan and Sam from Groomingdales are now at Downtown Woodys on Brunswick.

I have gone to k9dergarten in the past. I believe it was $12 for nail clipping.

Susan - one of the owners of Groomingdales - works out of Unleashed JC on Wednesdays I think. Give them a call. Might be a hike, but there's a parking lot out front.

Any suggestions for a good dog groomer in DTJC where I can get my dog's nails cut?

I used to bring him to Groomingdales, which wasn't super clean, but they always took him and it wasn't super expensive.

Thanks.

I don't know anyone downtown but I HIGHLY recommend Kevin at Snip & Clip in Secaucus, next to Legends Diner on County Ave. Washes, clips & does nails. Great guy with a great way with his clients - 4 legged as well as 2 legged. Took the business over from his grandmother, Vera, whom I used at least 30 years ago, so you know this is a stable, longstanding business.
