It was not super crowded tonight so the bartender Alex made the burger exactly how I like it, I can imagine if they were super bz this might not be the case.

PARK TAVERN BURGER IS DONE RIGHT! I just ate one with fries absolutely delicious. Left Bank Burger please take note, that thing you are passing off as a burger to the newbies is insulting.

Park Tavern is, of course, a great burger. But, to say that none other holds a candle to it is just silly. I have had some great burgers at Left Bank. They are DIFFERENT. It doesn't make them better or worse, just different. The Kitchen burger is also very good, but a different product that NPT.

I don't get the White Star nomination. Guess advertising can convince people. Look at Dominoes and DD.

Not a single one of those places holds a candle to Park Tavern

QFT! The Kitchen burger is DELICIOUS. Next up on my list is the Dullboy burger, which I have heard is really, really good.

Recently had the Kitchen Burger at the Kitchen at Grove Station and it belongs in this conversation. Excellent burger.

Guys -
I've come to really appreciate how this board can critically approach subjects and even how passionate the arguments can get sometimes, but I've posted today for a different reason. I came across the poll on NJ.com through a friend who runs a nominated Jersey City establishment, and rather than come here and ask you to help him reach the top, I thought it may be better to ask the folks of JCList to help ALL of the Jersey City establishments nominated to make the semi-finals. So I've created a cheat sheet for you. Best bar burger Nominees: White Star Bar, Corkscrew Bar & Grill, Park Tavern Best restaurant burger Nominee: Maritime Parc Best burger joint burger Nominee: Left Bank Best diner burger Nominee: None Best specialty or veggie burger 9th and Coles, HopScotch, Jersey City Veggie Burgers By voting for these eight businesses, you can help raise interest in the local dining seen by helping gain impressions for these small businesses. Please think about taking the time to help, and if you can, vote up to once per day if you're able to. Thanks for your consideration
