Just got back from hellish Super Bowl weekend grocery run in Edgewater. Had the radio on in the car on the drive back and they announced the Pulaski Skyway was closed because of the fire in Kearney.

I just drove by it. It's right under the Pulaski. Thick plumes of black smoke. Looks like at least 3-4 alarms at this point. Saw trucks from Bayonne responding as well. Black smoked started to turn to grey which leads me to believe fire trucks were on scene with water on the fire

It's a warehouse on 2nd St in the industrial section of Kearny.
At first I thought the Beacon itself was on fire, which is what it looks like from Paulus Hook.

I'm looking at this from my friend's window right now in West New York. Huge plumes of thick, black smoke - blowing east toward Hoboken/Downtown JC. It looks like it is near 440 but I really cannot tell exactly.

Does anyone know what is going on just west of JC? There is a giant plume of grey smoke coming from an area to the west of JC. Looking from my window, the smoke looks like it is coming from a massive fire.
