Isn't the true 'asshole' the Iranian self proclaimed sheikh responsible for the deaths of innocents?

It appears to be one lone, crazy gunman who likely should have been in jail - police have just stormed the shop.
https://au.news.yahoo.com/nsw/a/257725 ... ituation-in-martin-place/ This from the Daily News: The gunman holding up to 15 people hostage in a Sydney cafe has been named as Sheikh Man Haron Monis, an Iranian refugee convicted of sexual assault, charged in connection with the stabbing death of his ex-wife and known for sending hate letters to the families of Australian soldiers killed overseas. A police source identified Monis as the hostage taker on Monday, 15 hours after he stormed the Lindt Chocolat Cafe in the city?s financial center ?demanding a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott and displaying the Islamic State flag. Monis, who was born Manteghi Bourjerdi, fled Iran for Australia in 1996 and has since had multiple run-ins with the law. Last year, he was charged in connection with the gruesome death of his 30-year-old ex-wife, after a bitter custody battle over their two children. In April 2013, his former wife, 30-year-old Noleen Hayson Pal, was stabbed 18 times and set on fire. More...

I'd love it if these people woke up but you have to remember we are dealing with Muslim terrorists here. Not just some random criminals. Things rarely end well when Muslim terrorists are involved.

Australian cops will handle it professionally and without all the drama or heroics - A lot of nypd cops often speak highly of their training and response techniques. Even Australian soldiers have an excellent reputation ... my old man fought along side them in Vietnam and often said they were much more professional and well trained, then our troops.
Lets hope this is just a stunt (threat of politically motivated violence - fear mongering) and these a-holes wake up to themselves.

This is an ongoing hostage situation in Sydney, Australia. The hostage takers are forcing the hostages to display Islamist flags in the windows. Hopefully they don't kill any of them for their jihad.
