Been to Edwards, Union Republic, and many other restaurants in Jersey City. My fave is the NY Strip at Skinner's Loft. Consistently fantastic.

Definitely Edwards. Liberty Prime is pretty good, but not worth the prices.

Best steak I've had in a long time was at Union Republic. I'm no steak connoisseur, only have a it a few times a year, but it was remarkable. Not your classic steakhouse atmosphere, but that might appeal. They actually sell aged meat by the pound to go.

Hands down Edwards, esp. for a business dinner. Great steak and a great atmosphere.

Absolutely agree on Edwards
I'm out for biz dinners a lot and often at Steakhouses. Over the last ten years or so, I've enjoyed Edwards as much as many of the famous NYC steak spots. Great people working/running it as well.

I've been to Edward's on Marin. That was fantastic. I've been to Liberty Prime also, though never actually had the steak there. It's a nice space though.
