Why would the article mention that the 2 men could ID their robbers? Isn't that dangerous information to put out before the robbers are caught? Seems like it puts the victims in danger.

Did anyone else hear a report of a woman's phone getting swiped from her hand on Marin near Grand? I think this was either last Tues or Wed night around 10pm.

Two gun-toting robbers made off with iPhones, ID cards, a wallet, and keys when they robbed two men leaving a Bergen Avenue house early this morning in Jersey City, according to police reports. A 22-year-old told police he was leaving the building when two men approached him from behind and pointed guns at his head, reports say. One of the robbers said to the victim, "You know what time it is," before he and his partner started rifling through the victim's pockets, reports said. More
