Another up vote for Maritime Parc. I have written about it in another thread: great food, good prices, and very friendly service. Their $20 BBO (Burger, Beer and Oysters) specials on Thursdays is INCREDIBLE: a burger (three to choose from), a beer (or glass of wine) and a half dozen oysters. You would be hard pressed to find a better deal for the quality food, and the general ambiance and service. Highly recommend this place.

Finally got myself to Maritime Parc last night with a group of six. We found the service to friendly and very patient with us, as we sat down and started to talking and catching up and didn't even look at the menus for at least 15 minutes. The wait staff did not rush us in the least.

Our mixed drinks from the bar were well made and the food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to see that no main dish hit the $30 line. For some reason, I expected the prices to be higher than they were. Everyone enjoyed the food, the view, the ambiance.

We will return.

Maritime Parc is modern clean white interior and the food is more creative and different. Liberty house is darker, warmer and more traditional, service was great at Liberty House. Depends on what your looking for.

Liberty House definitely has the better view. I think the food is better at Maritime Parc but the service is not good. Waiters tend to act too cool to rule at school.

I like both, MP to go with my friends and LH to take my parents.

I'm a big fan of MP, much better food than LH. The menu is a lot more modern and nuanced, but be warned that the prices can get a bit steep. One leg up I'd give LH is that they have a more lively, party sort of atmosphere (especially during the summer in their outdoor area). It all depends on what you're in the mood for.

I would like to know opinions as well. I have been to Liberty House several times and it has been pretty good but would like to know how Maritime Parc is since I have not been there.

I never ate at Maritime and only a couple of times at Liberty House. I'm taking some out of towners for brunch tomorrow and would like to eat at one of these restaurants, but have no idea what the difference is. Which one is recommended? Which has the better view?
