And Trump organization doesn't have many names? By the way Jared Kushner is married to Trump's daughter. Jared Kushner has given positive press to Fulop in the NY Observer and http://www.politickernj.com/ businesses Jared owns.

What part of the Heights is this guy in? The Heights seems to be changing to me, at a slow pace yes but I am seeing more and more people moving into the Heights than previous years

I guess reality is whatever you determine it to be then, huh? Never mind that Charles has his own company (Kushner Companies) and that the two companies compete against each other for land and projects.

Fortunately, what you "buy" is of little consequence.

For some reason Healy gave a 12 abatement in Journal Square in the former Welfare Building which is an eyesore. In terms of KRE, Murray and Charlie are brothers. Charlie stepped aside due to legal problems. I don't buy the argument he is not involved. Families transfer interests all the time due to these reasons.

Sorry to hear that, I been on the hill top since 11 and have seen drastic changes from the a new type of people to cleaner streets, more cops on bikes and foot patrol and less mobs of people hanging out on Ocean. I give Fulop a B+ I would give him an A but my taxes have gone up twice since he stepped in.

Because we need 30 year abatements so the rest of the city gets developed. No one is going to build in Greenville or BL otherwise.

Aside from the fact that you post a link to a 60-page (!) article and expect someone to read through the entire thing, a quick flip through it showed a lot of discussion (in particular, pages 7-9) of Charles (who was the staunch and vocal McGreevey supporter) and nothing about Murray. Murray is the Kushner of KRE - the firm building J-Squared in JSQ and the project neighboring Unico.

Why let facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory, right Yvonne? As has been mentioned, on here, to you, directly, many times, the Kushner (Murray) of the JSQ abatement and Unico is the brother of the McGreevey-friend Kushner (Charlie). The brothers despise each other, one (Murray) having been involved in sending the other to jail. They haven't spoken to each other in many years.

So I guess the Record is wrong too? http://www.lenehan.org/McGreevey%20reprint.pdf

This is the funniest statement ever. You are obviously a very newbie because with frightfully few exceptions, Jersey City has been run on liberal principles which, as Jersey City/Hudson County shows, is about a bloated bureaucracy, jobs for family/friends and no economic growth.

What does that have to do with Fulop giving abatements to McGreevey?s friends, Hamilton Park? Healy was reducing abatements to 10 years so why should anyone approve of 20 and 30 year abatements when their own taxes are increasing? Fulop is using JC as a stepping stone for the governor?s seat. And we are all expendable.

More straw grasping by people afraid of people from outside Hudson County moving in and upsetting the apple cart of corruption and incompetence.

The fact is that more abatements means more people from the city and the burbs voting for Fulop, Candace and their heirs. More people from outside of DT being priced out and replaced with newcomers.

The JC oldtimers see what happened in Hoboken with trepidation. Too damn bad. Bayonne and the rest of the county will be next. Cowan, McCabe and the Reval are the three things Fulop has gotten wrong in his first year. And I can understand why he won't want to tackle the Reval until his next term. On virtually everything else I think he's been spot on.

I think you would have been better off starting a thread based on this article instead of that long rant.

In any event, #s 3 and 5 are most concerning to me, but not enough that he'd lose my vote. #6 is annoying because it seems like he's focusing his energy on fundraising for his governor campaign rather than actually work on Jersey City. Finally, I'm disappointed this article didn't mention anything about the CarePoint/McCabe issue.

Sorry, I don't agree. The last month before the election, Fulop ran campaign ads attacking Healy on Bid Rig3. There was a great deal of corruption under McGreevey Administration as governor. Plus Fulop is giving generous tax abatements to McGreevey's friends, the Kushner family - Journal Square and changing the zoning for Unico for Kushner.

You are losing it old girl. This Riaz's work with the homeless should be applauded. As for the meetings, so what. Anyone can go to a meeting cause all that requires is a presence. Ditto speaking to the issues. Now going through the mountain of papers that covers the issues takes a huge amount of time. Is this Riaz retired, like you, with nothing but time on his hands because he has no joy in life other than hearing himself speak? BTW, your picture of your husband sitting in a pothole was one of the saddest things ever as witnessed by the pained look on his face. I don't know about anyone else on this board but I am going to light a candle for this poor man.

#1, I posted an interesting post on Fulop, #2, Fulop who attacked waterfront abatements under Healy is now giving them and at longer years than Healy and #3, Fulop is not a new politician, he has been in office 8 years previously. This is his 9th year in public office at city hall.

So I guess the answer is no that there is in fact no polling information of the Mayor and the council. Nobody cares about one mans skewed, charged, and politically motivated opinion except his allies. That's a disappointing post from Yvonne, come on!

You can attack Fulop verbally all you want, no one is arguing that part. But the thigns you spit out against Fulop never make any sense at all and you just spit BS, plain and simple. It's clear in every single one of your posts that you are biased and have a thing for Fulop.

I did vote for him but I do not support everything the man does or has done. There are plenty of things I disagree with and some that I agree with but you have made it your life to pull out things from your Azz to make it seem like he is doing a horrible job at every single little item.
